  • Heat the butter or olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the vegetables and sauté until it starts to soften.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 Potatoes medium size
  • 3 Carrots
  • 1/2 Celery root medium size
  • 500 ml White wine (2 cups)
  • 2 tbsp Butter or Extra virgin Olive-oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Peel the celery root, carrots and potatoes and cut them into 3 cm sticks.

  • Add the butter/oil to a large skillet pan and heat over medium-high to high heat. Sauté the roots until browned. Add salt and pepper.

  • Now, pour the wine ( your want your roots to be covered with wine).

  • Finally, put a lid on and let it boil on medium heat for 25-30 minutes.
  • Taste it and add more salt and pepper according to your taste.

Notes

If the wine has been reduced, in that case you just add a little more wine.
If the wine has not diminished, remove the lid and let it boil a little longer.
You want some liquid left in the skillet pan.
