Slow cooked -Pulled turkey with Coca cola

- 800-1000 g Turkey breast (1.7lb - 2.2lb)
- 2 tbsp Spice mix
- 250 ml BBQ sauce (1 cup) whatever brand you prefer
- 100 ml Water (½ cup)
- 1 Onion
- 3 cloves Garlic
- 400 ml Coca cola (1,7 cups) Original, not diet
Spice mix (Optional)
- 3 tbsp Brown sugar,
- 1 tbsp Smoked paprika,
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Chipotle chili
- 1 tsp Habanero
- 1 tsp Cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp Coriander
- 1 tsp Ginger powder
- 1 tsp Cumin
Preheat the oven 150° C.
Rub the turkey with your spice mix.
Place the meat in a roasting pan with lid.
Add the garlic and the onion cut in half.
Pour the BBQ sauce ,water and Coca cola over the turkey breast.
Cook in the oven for 3 hours (with the lid on).
Shred the turkey meat using two forks.
Drain the broth using a colander
Pour the drained broth over the shredded meat.
Mix until all shredded meat is covered in broth.
