Caesar Salad

A crispy Caesar Salad  is so easy to make. Just toss the romaine lettuce, chicken and mix it together with the homemade Caesar dressing. Then add croutons and sprinkle some coarsely grated parmesan cheese on top.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Romaine lettuce

Chicken

  • 2 Chicken fillet
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil extra virgin
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Croutons

  • 4 slices Plain white bread
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper black
  • Garlic powder

Extra

  • 1 tbsp Parmesan coarsely grated

Croutons

  • Preheat the oven 180°C.
  • Cut bread into cubes. Try to cut it the same size, so it bakes evenly.
  • Spread out the bread cubes in a single layer on a parchment-covered baking sheet.

  • Drizzle with some olive oil and season with salt, black pepper and some garlic powder.
  • Mix well using your hands.
  • Bake until crispy and golden, 10 -15 minutes depending on what kind of bread you are using.

Chicken

  • Start by seasoning the chicken fillet.

  • Sear fillet in a frying pan (4-5 minutes on each side).

  • After that, bake it in the oven ( for 15-17 minutes depending on the size of the fillet).
  • Take the fillets out of the oven and cover with aluminum foil and let it rest ( for 10 minutes).

  • Cut the fillet into slices. 

Salad

  • In a large bowl, combine salad and chicken. Drizzle evenly with desired amount of dressing, then toss until combined. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and croutons
