Easy Homemade Marinara sauce
It will last in the refrigerator up to 4-5 days. Perfect to serve over pasta with a some parmesan cheese or add to baked pasta dishes

- 400 g Tomatoes (14 oz) canned crushed
- 20 leaves Fresh Basil leaves medium sized
- 1 Onion small
- 50 ml Wine white (1.7fl.oz)
- 2 tsp Oregano dried
- 2 tsp Sugar
- 1 Stock cube Chicken or vegetable
- Pepper black
- 1 tbsp Butter
Add 1/3 of the canned tomatoes, onion and basil leaves in a blender. Blend it into a sauce.
Pour the sauce into a medium sized pot. Add the remaining canned tomatoes and ingredients (except the butter) and let it simmer for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes take the pot off the stove and add 1 tbsp butter to the sauce. Stir until the butter melts.
