This recipe will give you the juiciest and most delicious banana bread you have ever tried. The texture is super-moist and the flavour of banana, cardamom and cinnamon is just.....so tasty.
Separate the seeds from the Cardamom pods, place them in the mortar (bowl) and begin to grind the seeds with the pestle.
Preheat oven 180°C /355°F
Grease the loaf pan and coat with bread crumbs .
In a large mixing bowl, mash the bananas well.
Add oil, milk, sugar, vanilla essence, eggs, salt, cardamom, cinnamon and sugar. Stir until well combined.
Sift flour and baking power into the batter. Stir until just combined.
Opitonal: Add chocolate chip or/and walnuts. Stir it into the batter
Pour batter into loaf tin or muffin tins.
Bake for 45 minutes. Test the banana bread for doneness with a long wooden skewer or toothpick. If it comes out clean, take it out from the oven otherwise leave it for a little longer. If you use muffin tins bake for 12 minutes.
